Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Slavko Nohas has been an active member of the Ukrainian-Canadian community for many years. He has been entertaining audiences for over four decades as a singer-songwriter and leader of the Ukrainian folk band Trembita.

Throughout his life, Slavko has been dedicated to promoting Ukrainian culture, tradition and music. He has performed at countless festivals and events, both locally and nationally. Actively involved in the Ukrainian-Canadian community, Slavko volunteers his time and talents to various organizations.

Slavko is grateful for the opportunities life has provided and is especially proud of his family and Ukrainian heritage. He hopes to continue to promote and preserve Ukrainian culture, language and traditions for many years to come.
