Live At The Broadway Theatre
A bold tribute to baritone sax legend Gerry Mulligan, featuring exciting big band arrangements led by Fred Stride and guest soloist Shirantha Beddage.

About This Concert

Gerry Mulligan's big band music defies easy categories — cool, yes, but also daring, dynamic, and deeply expressive. This concert brings together Saskatoon’s premier jazz orchestra and one of Canada’s finest baritone saxophonists, Shirantha Beddage, to perform Mulligan's most striking large ensemble works. With repertoire curated and conducted by the incomparable Fred Stride, this concert is a deep dive into the bold elegance of a jazz visionary.
