Danny Fong is a huge nerd for vocal harmony. After 10 years and 5 studio albums as a world-touring vocalist with the acclaimed jazz vocal group Accent, he once again calls Saskatoon home. As a touring musician, he has headlined and adjudicated festivals, led workshops and judged competitions across 20 countries in Europe, Asia and North America. Danny’s performances have ranged from legendary jazz clubs like the Blue Note to the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, where he has shared stages with notable figures Kurt Elling and Jacob Collier.
Outside of Accent, Danny’s YouTube and Patreon have garnered 7 million views. He released a solo album with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Toronto Arts Council. His voice can be heard in 20 radio jingles that he composed. Danny is enjoying his “next phase of life” teaching music part-time at Centennial Collegiate. He also works as a contemporary vocal coach, a commissioned vocal arranger and with his drop-in choir project, Inspire Choir.
